By accessing or using wcproperty.ng and its services, whether as a property seeker, real estate agent, company, developer, or property owner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Site.
User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site.
You must be legally capable to enter into binding agreements under applicable Nigerian law.
Account Registration
For certain features (e.g. listing a property, contacting agents), you will be required to register for an account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, and to keep that information updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity under your account.
User Conduct
You shall use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe others’ rights or restrict their use.
You agree not to post or upload fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate content.
You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers, or to use any automated systems to access the Site without prior written permission.
Property Listings
Real estate agents, developers, and property owners (“Listers”) must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information for all property listings they submit.
Listers are responsible for ensuring that photos, descriptions, and property titles are correct.
WC Property reserves the right to verify listings and to remove listings that violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to WC Property, including logos, design, software, and text.
By uploading content (e.g. property images, descriptions), Agents grant WC Property a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and transmit that content as part of the Site’s Services.
Transactions & Third-Party Responsibility
WC Property is a facilitator, not a party to real estate transactions. We do not guarantee any transaction (sale, rental) between users.
Users are responsible for due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and finalizing deals.
WC Property is not liable for disputes, misrepresentations, or damages arising out of property transactions between users.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WC Property disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, error-free, or secure.
Termination
WC Property reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site at any time if you breach these Terms.
You may delete your account by contacting support, but any previously posted listings or content may remain on the Site unless removed.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on the Site, along with a new “Effective Date.”
By continuing to use the Site after changes are posted, you agree to the new Terms.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation; if that fails, via arbitration or litigation in Nigeria.
